Heidenberg Properties buys Triangle Town Place in Raleigh
The shopping center owner enters North Carolina with a 148,538-square-foot center anchored by Dick's Sporting Goods and Nordstrom Rack.

Heidenberg Properties Group and its partners Norse Realty Group and DG Raleigh have acquired Triangle Town Place, a shopping center on Sumner Boulevard in Raleigh, the company announced on Nov. 3, 2026. It is Heidenberg's first property in North Carolina.
The 148,538-square-foot center sits on 15.34 acres and is anchored by a 75,000-square-foot Dick's Sporting Goods and a 31,067-square-foot Nordstrom Rack. Other tenants include DSW and Dollar Tree. The center is more than 92% occupied, and Heidenberg says it is already talking with retailers about its one vacancy, an endcap of about 10,000 square feet.
"Acquiring Triangle Town Place was an opportunity for us to enter a high-growth, core market and expand the geographic footprint of our portfolio further South," said Jason Lazar, chief operating officer of Heidenberg Properties.
The seller was Atlanta-based RCG Ventures. Heidenberg focuses on open-air shopping centers and net leased properties in the eastern United States.
