DuraSeal signs Bill Leslie as its spokesperson
The Raleigh exterior sealing company has named the retired WRAL-TV anchor as its celebrity spokesperson as it grows across four states.

DuraSeal Inc., a Raleigh company that seals decks, driveways and other outdoor surfaces, has named former WRAL-TV anchor Bill Leslie as its celebrity spokesperson, the company announced on Nov. 4, 2026.
Leslie joined WRAL in 1984 and anchored its morning and noon newscasts until he left the anchor desk in 2018. He has won more than 70 major news awards, including two Peabody Awards and seven Emmy Awards, and he received the North Carolina Award and the Order of the Long Leaf Pine. The North Carolina Association of Broadcasters inducted him into its Hall of Fame in 2022.
"Bill spent his career earning the trust of North Carolina families," said Brad Halferty, founder and owner of DuraSeal. "Like our customers, he read the reviews, studied the process and asked hard questions before he put his name on it. That is exactly the kind of voice we want speaking for DuraSeal."
Founded in 2021, DuraSeal applies a silicone-based penetrating sealant to wood, concrete, pavers and brick and backs its work with a 25-year transferable warranty. The company serves 11 markets in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida, including Raleigh, Greensboro, Charlotte, Wilmington and Asheville.
