S&A Communications' Chuck Norman named PRGN regional VP
The Cary agency owner will represent North American members of a global network of independent PR firms starting in January 2027.
Chuck Norman, APR, owner and principal of S&A Communications, a public relations and marketing agency in Cary, has been named regional vice president for North America of the Public Relations Global Network (PRGN), effective January 2027. The appointment was announced on Oct. 27, 2026. Norman succeeds Natalie Ghidotti, APR, who will move into the role of PRGN president-elect.
PRGN, founded in 1992, connects more than 50 independent, owner-led public relations and communications agencies on six continents. In the new role, Norman will support member agencies in the United States and Canada, encourage collaboration, help agencies develop business opportunities together and serve as a link between North American members and the network's global leadership. He already sits on PRGN's Executive Committee and has chaired its Membership Committee since May 2024.
"I've benefited throughout my career from people who shared their time, experience and advice, and I've always felt a responsibility to do the same," Norman said. Bill Southard, PRGN president-elect and incoming president, said in the release: "Chuck understands the challenges and opportunities facing independent agencies and the value of bringing the right people together."
Norman has more than 30 years of public relations and marketing experience. He has served as president of the Raleigh Public Relations Society and of the North Carolina Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, chaired PRSA's Southeast District, and chaired the Executive Committee of PRSA's Counselors Academy in 2019. He has also been a guest lecturer at North Carolina State University for about three decades.
