NIC MAP brings its senior housing data into customers' AI tools
The Raleigh data provider's new Connector lets senior housing operators, investors and developers query NIC MAP data from inside their own AI tools.

NIC MAP, a Raleigh company that provides market data for the senior housing industry, announced on Oct. 21, 2026, that it has launched the NIC MAP Connector, which lets clients reach NIC MAP data from inside their own AI tools.
With the Connector, clients can run a market analysis on any address by radius or drive time and get rate and occupancy details, the construction pipeline and demographics; open analyses already built in the platform; and bring custom metrics into AI-assisted work. Users connect with their own NIC MAP credentials and the same subscription permissions. The company says the Connector is included with eligible subscriptions at no additional cost.
NIC MAP also released results from a benchmark it designed and commissioned Artificial Analysis to run on its Optima platform. Across seven AI models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and Z.ai, the company says answers to senior housing market questions were 36 percent accurate using the public web alone and 98 percent accurate using the Connector with web search. The results reflect a single run in October 2026 with 105 questions in total.
"AI is only as useful as the information behind it," CEO Arick Morton said in the release. NIC MAP says its platform tracks occupancy, rate trends and the construction pipeline across more than 35,000 U.S. properties.
