Farrin makes the Triangle Fast 50 for a third straight year
The Durham personal injury firm was the only law firm on Triangle Business Journal's 2026 list of fast-growing private companies.
The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, a personal injury firm based in Durham, has been named to Triangle Business Journal's 2026 Fast 50 list, the firm announced on Oct. 29, 2026. It is the third year in a row the firm has made the list, and it was the only law firm among this year's honorees.
The Fast 50 recognizes 50 privately held companies in the Triangle based on revenue growth over a three-year period. Triangle Business Journal published the 2026 rankings on Oct. 22, after an awards dinner at the Angus Barn Pavilion on Oct. 21.
"Our growth has always been about more than numbers. It's about the people we're able to help and the talented team that makes that possible," said James S. Farrin, the firm's CEO. "Growing our firm allows us to stand beside more people and help them move forward with hope."
Founded in 1997, the firm says it has helped more than 78,000 injured people. It has 14 offices in North Carolina and one in South Carolina, with more than 60 attorneys, and its main office is on South Mangum Street in Durham. Practice areas include personal injury, car accidents, workers' compensation, whistleblowing, defective products, eminent domain, mass torts, class actions and Social Security Disability.
