DPR Construction names Scott Sass to lead its Raleigh-Durham business
The 27-year DPR veteran takes over the builder's Triangle unit, where life sciences and healthcare are among its strongest markets.

DPR Construction has named Scott Sass leader of its Raleigh-Durham business unit, the company announced on Nov. 2, 2026. Sass has spent 27 years at DPR and has a background in life sciences and other highly technical industries, according to the announcement.
DPR, a self-performing builder, says life sciences and healthcare are among its strongest markets in the region. The company has worked in Raleigh-Durham since 2007, and its local portfolio includes work for Genentech, Eli Lilly, United Therapeutics, Duke Health and Duke University.
"Raleigh-Durham continues to be one of the country's most dynamic growth markets and our customers need trusted partners who can help them navigate increasing complexity while delivering greater certainty and value," Sass said in the release.
Jay Stoda, co-leader of DPR's Southeast region, pointed to the company's research and development and prefabrication assembly facility in Raleigh. "Scott will build on that foundation to help customers plan with greater confidence and deliver on what matters most," Stoda said.
