Bobbitt ranks No. 6 on the Triangle Fast 50 in its 80th year
The employee-owned Cary builder, founded in 1946, landed in the top 10 of Triangle Business Journal's 2026 fast-growth list.
Bobbitt, an employee-owned construction company headquartered in Cary, has been named to Triangle Business Journal's 2026 Fast 50 and ranks No. 6 on the list of the Triangle's fastest-growing private companies. Triangle Business Journal published the rankings on Oct. 22, 2026, after an awards dinner at the Angus Barn Pavilion on Oct. 21.
The recognition comes as Bobbitt marks 80 years in business. The company was founded in 1946 and says it has grown its team, expanded its presence across the Carolinas and taken on new opportunities in its markets over the past several years.
"As a 100% employee-owned company, growth means more than getting bigger," Bobbitt wrote in its announcement. "It creates new opportunities for our people, strengthens the company we collectively own, and positions Bobbitt to continue serving our clients and communities for years to come."
Bobbitt's Triangle headquarters is on Weston Parkway in Cary, and it also has a Triad office in Burlington and a coastal office in Leland. The company credits its employee-owners, clients and trade partners for the growth behind the ranking.
