A group of Marks Clearing & Grading employees spent a morning volunteering with the Durham Rescue Mission, portioning chili and helping prepare for the mission's Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway.
The giveaway sends children in the Triangle into the new school year with supplies. The company said volunteering in the communities where it clears land and builds roads is part of the same commitment as the work itself.
