Marks Clearing & Grading ranks No. 6 on Triangle Business Journal's 2025 Fast 50

Marks Clearing & Grading, a sitework contractor based in Wendell, was ranked No. 6 on the Triangle Business Journal's 2025 Fast 50, the paper's annual list of the region's fastest-growing companies.
The company credited the ranking to its field crews, leadership team, subcontractors and suppliers. It said its growth comes from putting maximum effort on each job and managing its workload so it can deliver ahead of schedule, an approach it says has made it a regular sitework partner for national homebuilders in the market.
Marks described its culture as rooted in faith, family and excellence, and said younger crew members are bringing new technology to the work.
