Marks Clearing & Grading has named Tim Clay chief executive officer.
Clay joins after a career building teams and delivering projects across Florida and the Southeast, the company said. The Triangle Business Journal also noted the hire in its People on the Move section.
"What stands out most is the pride people take in their work, the strong relationships they've built, and the commitment to doing things the right way," Clay said after his first days with the team. He said he plans to invest in employees, strengthen relationships with clients and industry partners and keep delivering work safely and efficiently.
"Super excited to welcome Tim to the Marks Team," said Gregg Marks, who moved to executive chairman and chief growth officer earlier in the week. "Big things are happening."
Clay's hire follows the additions of John Dodd as vice president of commercial operations and Justin Fanning as vice president of commercial estimating.
