Elemance partners with KOSTECH in South Korea
The Winston-Salem biomechanics firm named Korea Simulation Technology its local sales and support partner for GHBMC virtual human body models.
Elemance, LLC, a Winston-Salem biomechanics company, and Korea Simulation Technology Co. (KOSTECH) announced a strategic partnership on Nov. 5, 2026, to expand access to Global Human Body Models Consortium (GHBMC) virtual human body models in South Korea.
Under the agreement, KOSTECH will serve as the local point of contact for GHBMC sales and technical support. Elemance is the exclusive distributor of the GHBMC model family, which engineers and researchers use to study how the human body responds to impacts in automotive safety research, vehicle development and injury prevention.
"We are excited to welcome KOSTECH as our partner in South Korea," said Matthew Davis, COO of Elemance. "KOSTECH has strong relationships with engineering companies and research organizations in the region. We believe this partnership will help us better understand the needs of South Korean customers and support their work in vehicle safety and human body simulation."
KOSTECH has nearly 30 years of computer-aided engineering experience in South Korea and lists strengths in LS-DYNA and Ansys tools. The company serves automotive, defense and electronics customers with software, training and consulting. Elemance also provides specialized biomechanics engineering, custom modeling and virtual testing services alongside the GHBMC product line.
