The North Carolina Biotechnology Center reported the partnership on Oct. 28, 2026.\n\nThe two companies say the goal is to move clinical trials from reactive oversight to proactive intervention and prevention. Zealic's SiteOS software works alongside research sites to flag human and operational errors as they happen, and Coriqa brings hands-on clinical operations experience so the technology fits how trials actually run.\n\n\"This partnership is exciting because the strengths are genuinely complementary,\" said Chuck Piccirillo, CEO and founder of Zealic Health.\n\n\"Clinical trials do not need more complexity. They need better ways to turn information into action while the work is happening,\" said Wendy Tomlinson, CEO and principal consultant at Coriqa Clinical.\n\nZealic was co-founded in 2016 by Piccirillo and Casey Bennett, its chief operating officer.
